Updated for the 2016 year - subject to minor changes!

RULES:

  • Please provide a link to an image to whom you want to breed to, otherwise I'll have no idea who you're talking about and I don't want to have to search all over for it!
  • I will NOT do repeat pairings - kills the unique designs.
  • Must be gender compatible. (I will not accept Mare x Mare or Stallion x Stallion. "Herms" are welcome.)
  • If you move accounts and wish to keep the foals, let me know! They will be reclaimed by me if you don't let me know. If your account becomes deactivated without letting me know what's going on, I will reclaim the foals. No refunds.
  • IF YOU CHOOSE TO SELL THE FOAL: NOTIFY ME OF SALE - if I notice you start selling a LOT of my foals...I may be unlikely to accept more orders from you ^^
  • If you cannot agree with these simple rules, then do not ask for a breeding ^^
Update: 5/29/2015 - Anyone who does not follow these simple rules, especially about selling the foal, will be put on a blacklist and banned from any breedings from me indefinitely.

OPTIONS FOR COMPLETING A BREEDING:

(one required PER pair)
There are different prices for the different statuses for the horses. Status is listed on each horse's reference image in the Breeding section. Prices are subject to change without notice ^^
You will get first pick of the two foals for each breeding, regardless of payment option.
OPEN
1.) Draw the two horses together. (You'll choose one foal)
           - Must be at least a colored head shot. Sketches and linearts are accepted.
2.) 50Points for first pick of the foals.
3.) 80Points for both foals.

SEMI-LIMITED
1.) Draw the two horses together. (You'll choose one foal)
           - Must be at least a colored half body. Linearts are accepted.
2.) 80Points for first pick of the foals.
3.) 130Points  for both foals.

LIMITED
1.) Draw the two horses together. (You'll choose one foal)
-Must be at least a colored full body. Linearts and reused art will not be accepted.
2.) 100Points for first pick of the foals.
3.) 170Points for both foals.

VERY LIMITED
1.) Draw the two horses together. (You'll choose one foal)

2.) 250Points for first pick of the foals.
3.) 400Points for both foals.

Claiming a second foal AFTER it is designed.
The foals have been revealed! And you picked from the first two options....and now you really want both of the foals. Not a problem! If I approve, you may purchase the second foal for twice the points. OPEN will cost 100, SEMI-LIMITED will cost 160, LIMITED will cost 200, VERY LIMITED will cost 500.

Q&A

--Which horses are available for breeding?
-----I have a folder titled "Cellerators" in my gallery. This is my largest breeding stock. Please feel free to look through it and it will say on their reference sheet towards the bottom if they are open for breeding or not :) Please see here: drasayer.deviantart.com/galler…

--How many foals can I expect?
-----I always design TWO foals per pair - twinsies all the time. Unless it is otherwise requested or the breed does not call for twins such as registered breeds.

--When can I expect them to be done?
-----First off, I start on the foals as soon as payment is received (once the art is uploaded or once the payment is received). Then, I'm off and on with a semi-busy schedule but I always try to do my best to get them done in a timely manner. Sometimes I can get them done that day and sometimes it takes me a week to get to. I will notify you should there be a problem.

--Can I breed any breed or do they have to match?
-----I do not mind cross breeding! However, I do check registered breeds and if cross breeding is not allowed, I will not accept the breeding.

--What are passable traits?
-----On the Cellerator horses reference sheets there is a section that says: Passable Trait(s). These are characteristics that are more likely to be passed down. They are not 100% sure but these are traits that I will most likely be working in on top of color.

--I'm not satisfied with my foal and I don't want it.
-----Sorry to hear that! Upon dissatisfaction, I do offer a full refund accordingly. This does not mean these foals do not exist. The breeding is done and I will keep the foals. If you drew a picture for these foals, I can't refund your art and I will keep both foals. (Upon request, I can delete the other parent from the foals' lineage, but my parent stays always.)

--I'm tired of my foal now and want to give it back or sell it.
-----Sorry to hear that! If you simply do not want your foal anymore - PLEASE LET ME KNOW! Most of the time I will offer to take it back and may even pay for it. However, it is totally okay to sell it, give it to someone, or draw-to-adopt so long as they know the original designer is me and who the parents are for that foal. Transfer to a new owner doesn't make it parent-less. I like to keep track of my children. :)

--Are we ever allowed to breed two of your horses together to get new blood into our stables?
-----You are more than welcome to choose two of my horses for foals! Just check to make sure that they aren't closely related to each other.

--Can the horses be related?
-----I will not breed horses within four generations of relation. It doesn't offer any unique properties by breeding closely related horses together.

--Is there a time limit I have to send the points I agreed to or upload the breeding pic?
-----Rules have changed. I will only have a select window of time open to get your payment in for the foals. Deadlines will be clearly stated on the monthly breedings. Payment MUST be submitted or paid within the deadline. Any payments sent in after that will be considered generous donations. Now, I know life happens...just let me know if there's going to be a problem. But I won't wait on you forever ^^

--May I ask for certain characteristics to be left out of the foals or be included?
-----Certainly! If there's a specific characteristic you don't want to be passed on, ask me! I'll try to work around it. However, if you breed a winged horse with a winged horse and ask for the wings to be left off....one of them will probably still have wings ^^; Reasonable small things, I can work with though :)

--What if I want to start a new account but still want to keep my foals?
-----No problem! Just let me know what your new account will be. Transferring is completely up to you. This way, though, I know who still owns the foals and I don't have to go reporting anyone for theft.

--I'm leaving deviantArt for good.
-----If you deactivate your account, the foals will be reclaimed by me. If you deactivate your account but have notified me of a new account, then they can be transferred to the new account! However, do not assume it's my job to track you down. If I feel you have left dA without notification, the foals will be reclaimed. No refunds.

--How long do I have to claim my foals?
-----Please do so in a timely manner ^^ I understand not everyone gets on dA daily. I will wait patiently for a minimum of 1 week unless the foals have been responded to. After the 1 week grace period has past, I will send a private message asking again which foals you wish to have. If that note is not responded to within 3 days, I will claim the foals I want from each pair, regardless of payment option. I can't wait on indecision forever. The left over foals will still be yours, but you could miss out on a great opportunity to claim!

--What does OPEN, SEMI-LIMITED, LIMITED, and CLOSED mean?
-----On each of the horse's reference sheets, there is a breeding status that is either OPEN, SEMI-LIMITED, LIMITED, or CLOSED. This describes the rate at which breeding requests are accepted for them:
OPEN: Basically, anything goes so long as it is a horse-like creature. Accepted 99% of the time!
SEMI-LIMITED: These are a little harder to get breedings accepted for. For these, I look for something that will produce unique foals - not just similar clones of the parents. For example: red horse + red horse =...you guessed it...red foals. This doesn't bring any diversity and I usually don't accept them.
LIMITED: Like the SEMI-LIMITED, I'm looking for something special! For the LIMITED class, I really don't have the urge to breed them any further because I feel they have already reached perfection! To be accepted for these guys, the pairing has to be something really special. Take a look at any of the LIMITED and note how complex they already are.
VERY LIMITED: Good luck. They are either very complex or I have no real desire to breed them any further unless a really great pair comes up.
CLOSED: Not open for breeding at all.
SPECIAL EVENT ONLY: As the status suggests, these will only be open certain times of the year for special events such as holidays.

-----Please feel free to ask more questions and I will gladly answer them or try to!
-----Don't be shy!
